I am a fourth-year student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Emergent Digital Practices, as well as a secondary major in German, and a minor in Studio Art through the University of Denver. I am currently working on a dissertation for my German major which focuses on how Berlin's architecture in relation to different layers of culture contributes to the city's distinctly unique identity. Regarding digital art, I have extensive experience in teaching, client collaboration, product production, and software usage. One of the most valuable experiences I have had in the design realm has been collaborating with Professor and Artist Laleh Mehran in creating pieces for an exhibition titled "Woman, Life, Freedom: Free Iran". This show has not only been hosted locally by the University of Denver as well as Redline Contemporary Art Center in Denver but has also traveled to Pratt University and UC Berkeley. Learning to utilize design to initiate vital conversations within and beyond the DU community has been extremely rewarding.
Currently, I am looking for job opportunities post-grad, and am interested in working for design firms and or continuing to teach. I also plan to continue expanding my portfolio and experience within the artistic and digital design realms. I am extremely interested in creating new connections in the interest of freelance design. Therefore, please do not hesitate to contact me if you want to hear more about my work and/or collaboration.
