Michigan’s Memory

Northern Michigan holds a very special place in my heart. For this series, using image transfer techniques with photos I have taken over the years, I explored mono-printing techniques to achieve abstract ink blots on paper. Using Sharpie I wrote works on each individual print, each prompting the viewer to consider how their memory is impacted by time.
