Cultivating Resilience “Flourish”

Flourish was presented at the Boulder Public Library’s Canyon Gallery as part of the “Cultivating Resilience” exhibition organized by Jullian Young, Amy Hoagland, and Summer King.

The show reconciles with how a community can begin to heal after a significant trauma. On December 30th, 2021 the Marshall Fire ripped through Boulder County fueled by high winds and dry conditions, and took with it over 1,000 homes and structures. My work aims to explore what healing can look like for a community amidst difficult and very real consequences of devastation.
