Woman, Life, Freedom Exhibition

Beginning in the winter of 2023, I had the privilege of collaborating with folks in my program alongside professor and artist Laleh Mehran in creating this exhibition. Over the course of a few months, I developed multiple designs for the show that was featured in multiple locations including the University of Denver and Redline Contemporary Art Center in Denver Colorado. This exhibition is continuing to travel to Pratt University and UC Berkeley and continues to be an ongoing project.

During my time creating pieces for this exhibit, I gained significant experience in exhibit curation, cable management, and large-scale projection use. Additionally, I leveraged my position as a student and artist to create pieces that challenge folks to think about what productive solidarity can look like. Creating pieces that not only bring awareness to the revolution happening in Iran, but also inspire people to take action themselves has been so fulfilling. In all of my work, I hope to actively make an impact within and outside of my community.
